国際塾体験を行いました。
本日、中学受験生を対象に「国際塾体験」を実施しました。本学の特長の一つである国際塾の講議をアレンジし、小学生の皆さんに体験していただこうという企画です。今回の授業のテーマは、「家族について」です。
皆さんは、普段、家族に感謝の言葉を言ったりすることがありますか。授業では、お手伝い券（gift tickets）やカードを作成しました。手紙を読む練習をしたり、誰に送るかを決めて宛名を書いたり、カードを作ったりと盛り沢山の授業でしたが、生徒の皆さんは一生懸命、英語での指示を聞きながら作業をしていました。 宛名は、お父さんとお母さんへが半分ぐらいだったようです。
さて、受講生の皆さんは、このカードを渡すとき、英語の手紙を読んでくれたでしょうか。
On Sunday afternoon, Kokusai Juku held a demonstration class for open school. The topic for the lesson was Family: Saying "Thank You", and "I Love You". Students used comprehension, writing, and speaking skills in class so they could read, write, and give a Thank You letter/card to a family member with service gift tickets.
The students did a wonderful job following instructions, answering questions, writing, practicing pronunciation, and using the lesson English right away for real-world usage. I look forward to more lessons with the students in the future! Good work, everyone!
