文女祭を見ての感想
文京学院大学に来ている留学生のTUTORのレイチェルからのコメントです。
It was so fun visiting the school festival! In the United States we do not hold festivals like that in our school. It was so interesting seeing a Japanese high school and noticing the similarities and differences from my own high school experience. I was surprised by how much effort was put into all the rooms, decorations, and performances. It looked like a lot of fun for the students who put it together and made me wish we had something similar in the USA!
And I was able to watch presentations given in English by Junior High School students at the festival. It was very easy to understand all the students and all the presentations were very interesting! I also thought the English in their presentations was very applicable for them to use in real situations.
アメリカには生徒主催のこのような学園祭はありません。クラス展示や飾りつけ、発表など生徒皆が力を合わせてするのに驚きました。
学園祭にお邪魔することで、日本とアメリカの学校の似ている点や違う点などがわかり興味深かったです。
中学1年生のグローバルスタディーズの英語の発表はわかりやすくて良かったです。場面設定をして英語でプレゼンテーションをすることは、生徒たち（の英語習得）に役立つと思います。
